CARDIONCOLOGY.ORG ABSTRACT:
This study characterized cardiovascular disease (CVD) mortality risk in the United States as a function of calendar year, age at diagnosis, and follow-up. Results indicated that the majority of deaths from CVD occur in patients diagnosed with breast, prostate, or bladder cancer. The results also indicate that cancer patients have an increased risk of dying from CVD compare to the general US population.
